sunday mornin fun!

Postby mnb&t » Tue Aug 16, 2011 1:12 am

well sunday a friend and his little boy came along with there old plott male jake and huge b&t dudley. old jake was my monkey face minns pup trainer and dudley i gave to them after buying toby. member jeff and clyde were there also. i brought minn trix and toby.

well me and jeff started a little early got a short track with a single. other buddy and boy got there and we got a couple dentrees after daylight and my two black dogs for sure slicked one! well kept hunting and business picked up. got into a decent cornfield and dogs started tracking in every direction. minn trix and clyde were pretty much together with jake and dud heading almost a half mile away before treeing. our group of dogs treed with minn and trix climbing and im sure coon climbed into tree leaning into next and on the run again. on the way in hundred yards away coon run in front of us which was crazy. got dogs out of tree and got toby in and kept tracking other two dogs that treed. bout twenty minutes later took minn trix toby and clyde back to where coon crossed and they smoked track and caught in cornfield. trix got it first and got bit bad in leg and had a gusher looked like a blood trail coming out. LOL. went around section and kicked minn toby and clyde loose then went to where other dogs had been treed for awhile and they stayed put but didnt bark both are older and out of shape. found jake and duds coon and got some nice pics. other dogs ran and treed again with minn climbing clear to top and once again i think kicked coon out of tree. getting her out she took hell of a fall!!! by that point everyone especially my buddies little boy were tired and we called it a day. great day other than my best two dogs not only slicking but getting beat up as well. LOL. sure run some pounds off jake and dud to and the little guy tromped through right with us and had a blast.

most pics didnt turn out but last two are best! :D
