i got a package deal the 220 and 2-30 and 2-40 my buddy is going to buy the 220 and 2 collars off me the quest is which two do i give him. ive never used the 40's only have 30's. he said they were new in the fall and hes a bird hunter so they have very little use. thanks

yes not so much bear this summer busy with the bike, but yote in the winter.

talked to him earlier this summer and said he was hunting with a group of guy's up there. Never new he was into following hounds. He used to be married to my aunt Christine. How did last winter treat you guy's?

snow conditions were horrible we managed a few but it was a rough year for running dogs.

keep the 30's. if you dont believe me, go to ebay and look at what the used 30's are going for. my buddy has one on there with 5 days left and it is up to $220. i have used both and have had little to no problem out of the 30's. the 40's arent terrible, just not as good in my opinion. You lose your dogs more frequently with the 40's and at closer ranges. jmo from what ive seen in my area. might be different for everyone else.
