Oklahoma Coon Hunter

Post by NoCreek »

Howdy,

I think this website is great along with everyones post and the things a houndsmen can learn from reading everyones post is also great. I am from Oklahoma and I currently have 4 Hounds, Black&Tan gyp, Walker Dog, and two English pups, Ive been hunting with hounds for about 3yrs, its my favorite type of hunting, we hunt for pleasure only and to take and sell furs during fur bearer. I use to run dogs on hogs for about a year but decided it was easier for me and my two young boys Tuck & Tash to run coon as well as we have alot more places to coon hunt very close to home...We work with our hounds daily and try to hunt them atleast 2 to 3 nights a week even in this hot OKIE weather, we will run them alot more as fall and winter gets here. Thanks
