DC 30 help

I replaced the strap on my (previously fine) dc 30 and updated all my collars to the 3.8. Last night when I turned on my collar it aquired GPS signal fine but, after 10 seconds lost Comm. I tried it several times and it done it every time. This morning I checked the VHF connection and it was fine along with the GPS connection. I cleaned both connections good and retried it. The same thing happened again. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with this one?

by chance did the update get interupted while doing that collar?

I figured it out I think. I had bought a new collar and just hit auto ID and when I was going through my collars today trying to fix it I noticed that the collar not working and the new collar were 1 digit apart so I seperated the numbers and it seems to be working fine now. I hope that was it but, I also cleaned the connection REALLY good again so maybe that had something to do with it as well. Don't know.
