Post by seaverv »

WILD JUSTICE WAS OUT IN THE WOODS HARASSING HUNTERS THIS WEEKEND. ONE BUDDY GOT PULLED OVER AND THEY HAD THE CAMERA IN HIS FACE BUT THEY COULDNT DO ANYTHING TO HIM AND HE THEN ASKED THEM IF HE WAS GOING TO BE ON THE SHOW AND THEY SAID " NO, BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WORNG". WHAT KIND OF BS IS THAT?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is "the show"? I'm looking forward to the fall season and don't relish the thought of unjustified interference.

"Wild Justice" is a series done by the National Geographic Channel that covers California Department of Fish and Game Wardens in action. It has creative editing and a real slick production value. There has been some controversy involved regarding informants being identified on camera and what appears to be entrapment type situations. They are currently, apparently filming season two as anticipated. So with all the wild rumors flying about with the opening of bear season close at hand, I'll be a legal beagle when I'm in the woods this year. Good luck. -Pete

I got pulled over the other night when I was exercising my dogs. The dogs were in the box and I was heading home. They saw me using my flashlight to load dogs and said that's the reason they were stopping me. Thinking maybe I was poaching. The officer asked if he could do a quick look around my truck and I said I have nothing to hide go ahead. Well, and hour or so later, they were looking under the hood, under the truck, in the dog box ect. Here I tried to be cool, and they completely took advantage of it. When they ran across my guide book about an hour into search, they whispered to each other then proceeded to tear everything out of my truck again!! I did my best to explain that not all dog hunters were illegal hunters!! But I don't think they were wanting to listen. The officer did say that even if I didn't offer to let him search he would have anyway due to seeing my flashlight!! Heads up everyone, be 100% legal or you will get it. They were hungry!!

Good hunting everyone!
