Knowing this bear was not changing its ways I headed down the mountain to get the old man in on the fun when my buds came around the moutain and we asked for some help. They arrived and dumped the box with 7 more dogs plus Cougar. The UFC cage match continued several more times ending with a nice first bear for my friend.
For the rest of the story:
Before the dust cleared, I was looking over the dogs when I noticed a spot of blood on the throat of my best dog Yap. Didn't look bad so I moved onto the others and when I looked back Yap's neck was swelling/expanding like a balloon. A closer inspection revealed, Yap had been bitten in the throat and shoulder with a good laceration to her wind pipe, causing air to fill-up under her skin. Within minutes she looked like a parade float on a string. After several phone calls searching for a vet open on a Sat morning we found one and were able to get her stable. This particular vet either couldnt or wouldnt do the surgery so after several more phone calls I decided to head home as arrangements for a surgery center had been made. Within 24 hours they were able to repair the hole and she is doing well. I wish I could say the same for my credit card
I guess it was just my turn, hold on it has been my turn several times in a row
Good times as we had several good runs and got some young boys to the trees and some awesome video but very few pics and will try to post some this week.
