If I could do it over, Id spend the 5 or 6 grand and buy one finished dog to train pups. If you can afford 2 more power to ya. Whatever you buy make sure you try them in YOUR area! Theres plenty of reputable guys selling dogs on here so good luck.

a good dog is worth it weight in gold when you take into acount gas chaseing around dogs the time followings dogs that wont tree anything buying a already trained dog is a shortcut and you will learn more from that dog than you will from training some pups and put way ahead of the dogn game and i know it hard to drop that kind of money down but if you are going to stay in this sport it will be worth it
