Re: First snow in utah
All the harvest objective units are open. Zions, Nine Mile, are a couple of them. But you have to have a kill tag pursuit season is closed until nov.

Re: First snow in utah
been finding all kinds of tracks and sign cant wait. been running the dogs 5 to 8 miles three to four times a week . they better be ready.
if you dont learn something from your dogs evertime you you turn them lose, give it up!!
Re: First snow in utah
Something as important as this subject, you should check for yourself and not rely totally on sites like this for all your information. I had a call telling me that I was wrong about hunting during October and I was afraid of getting people in trouble, so I called the SLC Division office and the Price Division office and both of them told me the same thing, that harvest objective units are year round and they do not close unless the quota is filled, then that particular unit closes. They said to be sure and call 1-888-668-5466 before you head out and make sure the unit your going to is open. The confusion with the August through October dates that are in the proclamation apply to the pursuit and not to hunting. LeRoy
