SVTR bear from today

Seylor Valley Trash Runners caught this bear today. Pretty nice bear definitely one of our bigger bears. We have caught 4 big bears but this is probably the biggest bear this year seem to be in the 400's but I wasn't able to get him to the scale I use. He seemed to about the size of our 465 lb er from last year. We let him out of the tree and ran him twice but wouldn't come out again.I don't think he liked the dogs right on him. I shot him out of the tree with a .243 from at least 150 yards away, shot him out when we couldn't get him to come down to chase again. One shot would of done it but I put another one in because when they come out I want them to be dead so the dogs don't get hurt. Going to get rug prices tommorrow. When we had him strechted on the ground at home he measured 6'10" from nose to tail.
