I liked the show a lot better than the others, but I still think it is hard to show good dog work in a 30 minute program. The Dad on the show was funny as hell, and had some great sayings that I haven' t heard in a while.

Dogs actually work on the show, and they know that just one hog off of a property is not the end.
Better the the discovery channel store for sure.

Its a good show really liked it till I seen that the same guy that produces this show also produces Wild Justice. Got to say really makes me mad to have this guy have one show where he makes all houndsmen out to be sumbag poachers and now he is making his money showing them as helping the state of TX out and really good guys. If it was a change or heart type of thing it would be one thing but its not. He is just burning the candle at both ends.

I did like the show but you might have just ruined it for me[/quote]

Thats just it as houndsmen we need to contact the TV channel A&E and let them know how we feel about this. I am sending an email to A&E tonight letting them know my suport for the show and the positive light it is putting on hunting and houndsmen but at the same time my dislike that they used the same producer as Wild Justice. If you go to the web site IMDB and look up Thom Beers you will see many great shows he also produces. Many of them I too have sent emails to letting them know my dislike for the inaccurate and byist opinion his show Wild Justice makes out houndsmen to be. If other houndsmen would do the same maybe this guy would get a clue and separate himself from that show. Or better yet start showing some real facts on the show that real houndsmen are not poachers.

Caught the replay of the first two episodes tonight. I know its tv but um...a used trx 64 costs what about $300 these days? They must be like 95% of the people out there and buy dogs out of a kennel rather than after a hunt? Expecting new dogs to hunt 100% right away with no acclamation to new owners and unfamiliar dogs? Ok I'm done complaining now lol The daughter and her friend are pretty easy on the eyes though

Lots better than Hogs Gone Wild. They show the dogs working and catching a lot more like the real world. I love the old mans wise cracks thats sum funny stuff. As for Christal and Lea those chaps, six guns, and hobbles well i'd go hunting with them any time.

what a bunch of crap. The ignorance of a mass majority of human beings is just mind blowing to me.
I thought the show was good and will continue to watch, I don't know crap about pig hunting but that old man cracks me up.

The show should be called "Lea and those other people". She is definitely the highlight of the show. Easy on the eyes and looks to be a good hand too!!

With that said it is defintely better than any previous hog hunting shows. And their dogs looked a lot better tonight than they did in last weeks shows. I feel these people are actual hog hunters who can get the job done, unfortunately, I think they may be limited a bit by what the shows producer thinks will make good television.

Seems to me if the cameras were off, they would be a great group of people to go hunting with.

Watched them again last night, and what can I say! Great, we have a reality TV show for us; more real than any survivor BS. Finally you can watch the real reason people hunt hogs, cause it's fun and damn sure exciting, not to mention the fact that anyone hunting hogs is doing the habitat and land owners a big favor by removing as many wild breeder hogs from an area as possible. Whether your hunting with dogs (the most fun way) without dogs, or trapping them, no matter take em out! They tear up or eat everything in sight and the best place for em is in a smoker. I've had a lot of fun hunting hogs in Texas, Georgia, and now in New Mexico. I'll chase em with dogs every chance I get, shoot one if he shows up during a Deer hunt or any other hunt for that matter, and trap em too. What can I say, PIG PICKIN is fun too! Inject em with Tony Chachere's Butter and Garlic, dust em heavy with Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning, and baste em with honey. Let em smoke all night long until the ham bone pops out and invite all of your friends over the next day. Partake in a refreshing beverage of your choice and watch that ole piney rooter disappear before your very eyes! Fun, Fun, Fun! Happy hunting everybody.
