Switching Batteries in Receiver

Post by Jordan Run Walkers »

I'm getting ready to start using the lithium batteries in my 220 and I know that I need to go in and reset the receiver to use them. What if I don't do this? Will the receiver not work properly or will it burn something up??
Is everyone using the lithium batteries or what?

The only that will happen is the battery level will not be displayed properly.

For the money you are far better off using rechargeables. With the highest maH you can find. Skimping on them and getting the low maH ones are also a waste of money!

Thanks for the response Steve. One of my hunting buddys put in a set of Lithiums and used them all training season, although I don't know how much he left it on. I've already bought 4 of the Lithiums, so I'm going to use them up and then I'll try the rechargable ones.
