dc 40 piggbacked
as any one ran a dc 40 with a telementry transmiter on the same collar does this affect the preformence of either of the transmiters ?
if you dont learn something from your dogs evertime you you turn them lose, give it up!!

I haven't done this yet, but going to give it a try. Two recommendations after doing some research. The GPS antenna in the DC40 is inside the collar rather than remote like it is on the DC30. I am going to mount the 40 on on of my heavier telemetry collars and run the vhf antenna down the opposite side of the dogs neck and hopefully the DC40 will stay closer or on top of the dogs neck. This should have with the GPS staying locked and the two antennas as far apart as possible. Just a couple thoughts, if you run one give us an update...
I think I am going to break down and have Buddy just modify a couple of mine with the DC30 type GPS antennas then I won't have to sweat it too much. Casey
