Buzz Anderson Blueticks lets hear the good and the bad

Well since you mentioned Diamond Jim, Rush and Les Mitchel, this is the female I bred my male to that produced my half 'Buzz' dog I like so much. A friend has the littermate brother to her as well. I am hoping this spring to make the cross again, either by Lily to my male or my friends male to my dogs sister. I have been really impressed with the dog from the cross.
Is there anyone else out there with similar breeding - especially in the western states? (I know LCK has some, I have talked to him)

I run a little of that blood.
Mitchell's Idaho T-bone and
Teton Blue's Jake's Jill show up in my females 3rd gen. which puts Mountain Musics Blue in her 7th. along with Vaughn's Arkansas Blue Buck.
Now that some ooold blood.
Stubbornest dogs on the planet, but mixed with my Cameron bitch... ooh lala.

Liz, I think your best bet if your wanting the same blood would be lck or Les Mitchell. The best source would be Buzz Anderson himself. I heard
cobalt has some nice blues that would surely worth looking into. Les doesnt hunt like he used to but hes still raising dogs and building dog boxes on the side.
The dogs Les has now are very well built and can run like the wind. I hope Buzz is still doing good, I havent heard anything about him for a while.

I'm definitely not the person to come to for Buzz Anderson's bloodline. I did 3 crosses off Hill's Smokey Mountain Teak out of Mitchells Teton Blue Boomer. Had some good success and a few culls. They are all over the west, several in Ca., Or., Id., Ut. and Wy., hunting bear, cat, coon and lion. I only have the 1 female and she's a good one at 1.5 yrs. old, but I won't breed her (if I do) for at least another year.

I would tend to agree with BEARCLAW, if you want a Buzz Anderson dog, get one from Buzz or Les and I think Dennis Upson has very similar blood.
