Startinum young!

Post by Brent Sinclair »

My 9 week old Cameron pup on his first lion hunt.
The 3 mile hike wore him down a bit ....had to pack him a ways but he claimed the lion!!

Good Job Brent. Lots of snow now, make that tracking a bit easier. Got a leopard pup that would look good in that pic with you [ha ha].

I will take every pup I can one at a time if it's possiable on a hunt at this age, may not do a thing to help them but why not give them the exposure , it can't hunt, if anything it worth a good laugh just watchin them.
Here's the Cameron pup at the tree yesterday , he did follow the big dogs a bit and got to sniff a lion at the end.
Hard to miss the look of those Cameron hounds, Lord help if he grows into his feet and head!!!!!!!
A couple B&T pups that are now 5yr old hounds on their first lion kill.

Nice work- I was trying to get my young dogs out for a walk this weekend with the horses and the damn mule i was ponying stomped my male pup! He went to yowling and ran all the way home... Hopefully he's not too spooked by it, but I bet he stays away from her for a while.
