Careful on dayglo conversion for dc30

Post by Unreal_tk »

Its my own fault but careful on how tight you tighten the gps transmitter part otherwise it'll dig into your wire and cut it. I taped up all of mine where that's at now. I need to order that part from garmin for one collar maybe two. I almost took a chunk of levi and put there for padding. Other ideas are welcome.

Thanks

not real sure where you are talking. Is it one of the screws or the collar that is cutting the wire I have six converted over and haven't had a problem yet wanna make sure I don't. Thanks

It happened right where the black gps transmitter edge is on the collar. Cuts the wire that connects up to the main collar is at. Ive been contemplating how to add padding.

I haven't had it happen to me, but have had other people experience the same problem.

I just wrapped electrical tape around the wire and so far so good.

I have started cutting a notch out of the Black Case so the wire fit's in there and won't wear out the wire.

Also It looks like you got a batch of the shorter sleeves, The Black Sleeve should reach both boxes and there should not be a Wire exposed.

I'm sending you some replacements.

I must of got the shorter sleeves to but I did the same thing as Buddy and used mt dremel tool to notch the plastic so the wire would fit. Been working good for almost a year.
