DC 40 help

i just bought a dc 40 from the cabelas bargain cave took it home and the collar doesnt turn on or even charge. does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it, i thot about sending it to garmin but i doubt its warrantied. any help would be apreciated

One thing I learned is bargain cave stuff is typically junk. I don't buy optics or electronics anymore there.

I've seen a handful of DC40's do that since I've started selling them, .. Not sure why or what but you'll most likely need to send it in.

Seams that the collars that I was messing with which had that problem the Blue light stayed on for a while after you un pluged it from the charger (it was just something funny that I noticed, I remember because I sat there an looked at it kinda confused, It's the same look you'll see me have in the woods! :)

Anyways Shortly after that confused look I had I couldn't get any light to turn on.

I've been able to get it to work for a day or two by Unplugging the battery on the collar, but then it goes back to that situation after a day or two.

If you can't send it back, Unplug the batteries,
And try to Reload the software on the collar.

But I haven't had much luck with the collars I've messed with that did that.

If it's not warrantied or you can't return it to cabela's, You'll just need to pay 90 dollars and they'll replace it with a working one.
