Staple gun, nitrofurozone, and betadine. You can also use water to flush out the wound before putting in the betadine. I should also have some blood stop powder, elastic wrap and a plastic bag. A friend used a bag and wrap to keep everything inside while he got to a vet.
Best thing to have is a cell phone with the emergency number to your vet. Assess the situation and bring them in if it looks to be something major. One hole through the inner lining and it's bad news.

shoot i don't bear hunt but run hogs . and the list in my kit is to long to type all the way up to an iv and glucose drip . you just have to put yourself in a worst case scenerio and go from there as to what you think you might need . but as stated earlier the emergancy number to your vet is top on the list . and i've used my kit on myself a few times to boot .

I carry a normal FAK for me and the buds.
For the dogs I went to walgreens and bought a large package of womens thick pads, A few boxes of 3 inch wide dressing, iodine, alcohol, medical tape, benadryl, a couple of ace bandages, and super glue. You can do most anything with these items, and keep your dog alive long enough to get them to the vet.
I went bear hunting with a buddy back during kill season. He had a couple of plotts on a two way snap. Dogs fought, one started bleeding severely on its chest. I always keep a ziplock bag of flour and a bandana in my coat. I got a handful of flour and put the flour on his chest. Then folded the bandana up and put it on top of the flour. Took my belt off and wrapped that around his neck then around the chest, behind his front leg and back up to the neck. We got him back to the truck without bleeding out. Then used the above mentioned. Hopefully this will give you some ideas.
Fyi flour will clot blood on its own pretty good if your in a tight spot and your a good ways from the truck.
