you're right dale! if we dont stand up for our rights and everything else that is RIGHT, then these assholes are gonna keep effing us over. and either way they are getting money out of us, weather it be just paying the ticket and moving on, which in most cases would be cheaper. versus, gas to go back to every hearing or what not when it is 60 miles each way from our house to up there....but they arent going to get off easy on this ticket! and your right when we are right, we need to make sure they know it and get the point!!!!

Re: Here's one for the books!
Okay folks, heres something new on this topic!!!!
Today my dad called to get more information about his hearing and everything. And they informed him that they are changing his ticket violation code from a park and regulation code to a fish and game code, and also changing his court date from Dec 28th to sometime in Jan. He is supposed to be receiving something in the mail before this weekend.
and also, when the park ranger pulled him over, my dad said "so whats this ticket gonna cost me, thousands of dollars?!" and the park ranger replied "no, im putting it under a park and recreation code, instead of fish and game code, so it wont be as much"
My dad is wanting to know how they can change the code from a park and recreation code to a fish and game code?!?!
And would like to get your guys' feedback on this.
thanks everyone!

You california houndsmen are a tough, patient bunch. I honestly don't think i could handle putting up with all the bullsh*t u regularly are put through. I work all summer in C.A and travel pretty much the entire state. I have met many of my best friends there, but have also have never seen a place with a bigger group of worthless and corrupt state officials! I realize there are good ones too, but i'm yet to see them. Every one of my experiences and those of my friends, points to a bankrupt state trying to make $ off a multitude of moronic laws and regulations. That, combined with a ranger on a powertrip, or worse - some damn personal liberal agenda, is a double whammy! A pity too, because its undoubtedly one of the most beautiful states in country.
