dc40 not hooking up?

we hunted yesterday morning, and my collar never came into reception on my astro 320,
I picked up my buddy's collar but he didn't get mine either. when we got the dogs caught up I wiggled the antena, near the screw, and it got reception right away. the screw was tight though. when I got home I took the antena off and clean the contacts up, it seems to be fine now.

this happened in september also, and it has happened to a couple buddies also, just wondering if anyone else had this problem and maybe somebody has a fix?

i am having the same problem i was hopping somebody had a good fix other than just cleaning the antenna

They had an antenna problem. Garmin fixed the antenna now. So most likely you have to replace the antenna.

I will give it a try, antena's don't cost much so it worth a try, boy there hard to beat when there working good!
