bear hide drag?
I used to start coon dog pups with a fresh coon hide drag, toss the hide when it got too ripe, anybody start bear dogs on a drag? If so do you keep the bear hide cool or tan it and use sent before it starts tosour? Fresh bear hides arent as easy to come by as coon hides are.

We use a bear hide drag that we keep in the freezer until the morning of our field trial for the bear race with Boatman bear scent on it after the field trial we get it back in the freezer until the next race, theres been years that we have gotten three bear races done with the same piece of hide.
