Mexican officials have released five wolves in the Sierra San Luis mountain range of Northwest Sonora by the Mexican environmental group Naturalia on Oct 11th . The mountain range abuts the New Mexico and Arizona borders with Sonora.
The release is part of an effort to re-establish the species in its historic range.

I hope the bunny huggers start releasing grizzly bears and buffalo too!

The more I see this the more I want to stay in the northeast. I don't like my dogs getting killed.
