I have a bloodhound that is silent until he gets something jumped then he is only sort of open and with a bunch of work has turned into a good enuf tree dog have run him on yotes and he can make a race alot shorter they start making short circles right away cuz he is on them before they know it and they have to spin around a few times before lining out and and its a great time to kill it crossing a place it normaly wouldnt, but i digress... he has yet to get a chance on a cat here hopefull for tomorrow. I ran him on one lion out west and new when he had caught it that lion put up into a cave only 100 yrds from jumping. the odd thing is he rigs when we coon hunt him better than any rig dog ive ever hunted with never whines or bables or says a damn thing until he rigs and then he will jump over the rig bar and over the side of my F-250 hes so worked up only to be dead quiet until he jumps a coon and has caught them on the ground 10% of the time and the others tree like now. so i have just learnd to trust him and watch the GPS tell he says he has them. good luck man keep them in the woods!
