Ok im fairly new still to the game but id like to think im learning quick. Anyways my question to serious bobcat hunters with snow.

Do you teach your dogs to strike snow tracks from the truck or sled? Im talking somewhat fresh tracks, warmer weather so fiddo doesn't freeze his life away.

I am in the process of trying to do so myself, I had one dog strike one last weekend that was fresh. I do not have coastal conditions of moisture or vegetation, my hopes is this will teach them to strike bareground occasionally as you wont consistently do it here due to moisture and vegetation.
