border collies

I've seen a couple guys mention border collies for bobcat dogs? Do they breed them into there stock? Run a straight collie with there pack? Any info on this would be great. Just trying to learn thanks. Mike

I've had dogs in the past with B.Collie in them that were nice cat dogs. The one's I got now have about 1/8 border collie in them that do a nice job on the cat. I think the collie gives them the smarts needed for cat

have a friend in south central montana that runs full and half blood borders on bob cat and lion they have the smarts for sure but he has a hard time with getting solid tree dogs so he will use them on a real old track and still uses hounds to finish or help with the tree if he can get them in the race
