OK guys I have a 220 and a 320. I am currently using the new topo 24k map card directly from Garmin, in my new 320. when i pull up my map screen It does not show rivers, roads, elevations, etc. Am I just over looking something? could I have accidentally erased the info off of the map card? please and advice would help me out.

I don't have a 320, but i think you need to go into the menu and enable the map you want to show.If i'm wrong I am sure someone will let you know.

I have enabled each individual map in the map setup but it still does not work. I used the mini sd card from my 220 and uploaded the entire state onto it with my mapsource cd's and it works fine. Still baffeled at why my map card from garmin still has no response or info on it! strange.

You should just stick it in and it will work. Make sure it's locked in if not you need to send it back and get another one. There isn't many other options You normally just stick it in and it works.
