Any Carolina Hog Hunters on Here

Postby scdogman » Sun Jan 15, 2012 2:15 pm

I was just curious to see if there were any Carolina hog hunters on here? Always fun to meet new folks with the same love for the sport close to home. I'm from Rock Hill, SC about 45 miles north of Columbia, SC. Howdy :D

Mostly around Fairfield / Chester County. I like to hunt in the lower part of the state but it's hard to get anybody that wants to go, so I have to hunt close to the house most of the time. I do hunt in Manning & Kingstree a good bit on some farms along the Black River. I go down to a buddy of mines place in Cottageville every once in awhile along the Edisto river. I used to hunt around Eastover on Eastover Hunt Club until they cut the dogs out. I like hunting the swamp over around Ft. Motte some but just don't get down that way much anymore, and have been to the coast a couple of times. We should get up & plan a hunt together somewhere pretty soon. I'm game for traveling & a hotel room as long as there's hogs there. :D
