Hi everyone my name is Thomas Ackley. I was born and raised in northern california, siskiyou county to be exact. Hunting with hounds has always been around me but i just started going along on hunts two years ago. The first ten fifhteen times i went out all we hunted was dogs. This last bear season i got to expierence the thrill of being under a bear tree with the dogs, hooked for life now. by the end of the season we were under as many as 20 or 30 bear trees and a few bobcats/dry ground. i now have 5 hounds and in way over my head lol. I have a shock collar, leashes, built dog houses, bought a 1989 toyota 4x4 yesterday. im in the market for a tracking system and dog box. i would like to downsize my pack and pay more attention to my pups and old coon dog. i would love to hunt with any local houndsmen and learn more thanks.
