Old to hunting, but new to site

I've been coon hunting for a while now, but never got into big game. However my coondogs have run a couple bobcats through the years and I think it's only a matter of time until they make it legal to take them either by trapping and or hunting here in IL. Also got hogs coming this way. Sooo....to prepare myself I decided to get on here and start learning what I can about big game and how they run and how to hunt them. So I'm ready to be learned by all you that are more knowledgeable than me.

Meet my hounds:
I have an 8 yr old Walker female named Bonnie that has done a lot of winning in the coon comp hunts and is a joy to hunt with.

Have a 2 year old Plott male named Tripp that is a great track dog, but lacks a little on the treeing end. Hope that comes along a little.

Have a 5 month old male pup out of Bonnie named Bo that I have high hopes for.

Glad to join the board and hope to learn a lot.
