My drug addiction

I had a drug problem when I was young.I was drug to Church on Sunday morning until I was old enough to refuse but it stayed with me as I got older (smarter ).I was drug to funerals, drug to weddings.I was drug to family reunions , community and Church socials no matter the circumstances or the weather.
I was drug by my ears for being disrespectful to my elders (betters as John Wayne said ) or drug to another room to have my rear spanked and not only by hands either , just what ever was handy. A hoe handle or belly band from a harness. A lariat was too handy one time as I remember well ,I was 14 years old at the time and thought I was pretty tough.
I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap for using profanity. I was about 12 before I needed toothpaste.
I was drug out of bed at 5 in the morning to milk the cow and not be late to school.Perfect attendance I might add.
I was drug to the neighbors to work and start earning my own way.
These drugs are still in effect and they reflect everything I do ,say or think. They are stronger than any drug or narcotic available today.This is the sort of drug problem deleted from America's schools and families and needs to be reinstated today.

I always heard this saying " You can't legislate morality" They never met my Mother.
