dc 40 are fixed!

so i bought an older dc 40 for chesp just to try it out. and it sucks! just wondering if the update fixes it or do i have to send it to buddy to get the improvement?

They are working really good.. I wouldn't modify the new ones if It were me.

still waiting on the new batch of DC40's that hopefully fix a problem where they just crap out and wont turn on. Not all the collars have it happen but it seams like 1 in 20 or 1 in 30 have this issue..

This is the problem I've been hearing about with the DC40's lately, Hopefully they will get this problem figured out.

Hard to figure out the exact numbers, but i was getting calls from more customers than I like to deal with.

So my answer is Yes The DC40's work awsome now, But one day if you woke up and the collar won't turn on, You wouldn't be the first person that has happened to.

No I don't. The new DC40's that have been shipping the last couple months are working just as good as the DC30's.


It's only the older DC40's or guys that use Alloy Covers which block the Signal, that are seeing any Value added.

Only if your not happy with the GPS performance.

If you are loosing the GPS signal quite often it will help. If your not loosing that signal, I wouldn't mess with it. I really only like working on collars that people know and can tell the difference between the DC40's and the DC30's.

If you don't have a DC30 you won't know the difference and it won't make any difference to you.
