Cougar track

This is a track of a very large tom we trailed yesterday that was traveling through the country. A track of this calibre is every houndsmen dream to be able to see whats at the end of it. This man that is in this picture is 6'1" 280 and not a small fella and u could have put ping pong balls in the toes of this bad boy.

Thanks Ken, but no we did not get him caught yet, he has covered to much country to hit the short end and the snow we got only stayed around 2 days and was melting out faster than we could trail. His day will come though, hope it is when Kyle is back here.

What's with the snow in Arizona? U guys are supposed to be grubbin out tracks in sandy washes and cactus covered hillsides. I was in Tucson last week and it was 70-80 degrees...no wind...perfect golf weather for the accenture match play. Not good for overweight, out of shape dogs with tender feet. I live at 7000' elevation and its dry as a bone! Hope that cat makes to New Mexico...I know some guys that can catch it...maybe they'll let me tag along.

Papa,

That was what screwed us up 4 of the five dogs have never seen snow before.jk We got some for a day and gone the next it was melting off so fast we didnt know what to do. Made trailing conditions very tough. We trailed this tom 11.3 miles (according to gps) before it had melted off so bad we could not trail any father. i was sure hoping that we could catch this bugger it was a great track.
