Journey, an intrepid gray wolf from Oregon's lone wolf pack, made history last year when he traveled more than 1000 miles to become the first wolf in California in nearly a century.
Now Journey's family, the Imnaha pack, is under attack again at home, this time by the Oregon Cattleman's Association, which is pushing a law that would allow for the annihilation of the pack.
The Imnaha pack is the first wolf pack in Oregon in more than 60 years. But instead of protecting and celebrating the return of the species, special interests in Oregon are working to eliminate wolves for fear of livestock depredation.
Sure, wolves have attacked livestock; they are predators after all. But the answer isn't to kill them.
Stand up for Journey's family: Urge Oregon state officials to protect wolves in their state and vote down a bill that would allow them to be wiped out »

Re: Wolf
Are you kidding me... my friends own that livestock that has got attacked in wallowa county and most likely my families has as well by sentinel groups that left that pack. They also live near my hunting areas where game has been impacted already. That is wrong.

Re: Wolf
I went to the websight to check it out. I sure wish someone could do what that websight did only in support of killing the wolves. Why is it always the anti's that have a websight like that. Why not have one for the people who are in favor of saving their hunting heritage. I wish i was computer savvy.
