Is there an animal organization we CAN support

Is there a non hunting related animal organization we as houndsman can support? I've often dropped off dog food and a few bucks at the local SPCA. I would like to be able to support an organization that dozen make me shoot myself in the foot? Wondering if I should or shouldn't continue to do so.

My question is, what animal organizations can we support?

National Animal interest alliance.

They are a good group that is about Animal Welfare but not Animal Rights.

www.humanewatch.org is a good organization to support or at least sign up for their emails. they are a hsus watch dog and i think we would all agree that the humane society is our biggest enemy as houndsmen and humanewatch is their biggest enemy right now and the more support humanewatch can get the less hsus is going to get

x-2000 on humanewatch.org the best people i have found to date . while all our orgs and clubs try and fight the legislation the hsus and peta spit out , humanewatch is trying to cut off the head of the beast . go to their site and sign on to their e-mail and facebook updates and then share them all across the www. the more people informed the less money the hsus has coming in to lobby with and advertise with as well . you wouldn't believe the number of folks thst have quit giving to the hsus and peta because of their [humanewatch] campaign to inform the public what really happens to the money that is donated to the hsus and peta . if you do anything to help us as houndsmen win the war help to kill the enemy till then we are losing the battle . thank you and don't say you will then forget , JUST DO IT AND DO IT NOW while you are still logged on .

humanewatch is a great and very informative site. i really hope it grows in the future and possibly make it where people can pay dues to become a member and maybe send out monthly newsletters or magazines to all members which i think would help it grow and also help the funding . I believe if they would put ads in hunting and farming magazines it would also help them because alot of farmers and hunters do not use the internet much. I would like to see some or all houndsmen, or farming, or hunting organizations form some type of alliance with humanewatch so that maybe some of the dues that members pay could go to help humanewatch. I would like to see it grow to the point where they can actually fight hsus and peta on a national level politically and in the media. I personally think that some type of friendship or partnership between humanewatch and the nra would be great and would really help them grow and possibly they could learn alot from the nra and continue to grow and become stronger
