In most places in BC now it is the Game Wardens (Conservation Officers) policy to shoot all bears and lions that are considered "Problem Wildlife" Heck they even have Deer culls for the deer in towns.
It all comes down to the all mighty dollar. The CO's can only drive thier trucks sparingly from the New Year too the end of March for the fiscal year.
See Brent, if you would have taken me to that course on immobilizing, we could make a arguement that we can relocate them. They have to pay us for call outs for the hounds anyway. LOL.

Why do they have to pay you for call outs.

If we are registered with the C.O.'s and get called out. They pay for the callout.
I have only been called out maybe 4-5 times in 12 years. Not very lucrative. LOL
