questions on possoms
Hey so I've been hunting a dog latly and two nights in a row it treed possoms. She treed both the possoms with in a min. So after I pulled her off the second one I was walking her back to the truck when she pulled to a swamp. So I turned her lose and she trailed through the sawmp and out to the run and into the swamp again. I had to catch her because a lot of cars were goin threw their so I didn't get to let her tree wha she was after. So in your guys opinons do you think that was a coon she was runny because it ran a lot farther and longer than the possoms. Thanks for the help

Re: questions on possoms
no she didnt trail neither of them. them. the first one she caught on the ground when i turned her lose. cuz it was right of the road. then the second i turned her lose up the creek. then she just treed that one, didnt trail. both the possoms were off the same creek. then i think it was a coon she was trailing because it went though 2 sams then crosd a bridge where ive seen a bunch of coon tracks before

yeah probabley was a coon . i never whooped my gyp for treeing grinners just scolded her good and she got the message . but she would slip every now and then and couldn't help but tree one . but i could tell by her bark what was going on and she wouldn't stay treed she'd move on out and get me a coon or three . good huntin .
