E-Collars

Post by albertaguy »

Hello all,
I'm on the market for an E-Collar, I am new to them, and there is a few makes and models out there.
I need long range, I am in timber and I want to handle 2-3 dogs. Trash breaking is a big thing, also I want to Tone a dog and have him come back to me.

What is the best collar to purchase?

Thanks for now!

There's a real nice two dog tri tronics system for sale in the classifieds I would check that out. Tri tronics is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned.
The fascination of hunting cougar with hounds lies in the discovery and unravelling of a complicated trail, watching an honest hound strike out on a track that has been found and read, and finally bringing the animal to bay so that you can see it for yourself---Jerry A. Lewis

I had a Sportdog system once and it never seemed to go as far as it SAID it would. I sold it to someone who hunted dogs that hunted close and went and bought a Tri-tronics Classic 70 EXP. Its a 1 mile range, handles up to 6 dogs, 3 easily.

I'd say I'd your in the woods and want something you can depend on, Tri-tronics.
