Anybody use an S.U.V. hunting set up?

I recently got rid of my excessively gas guzzling 95 dodge ram and acquired a 95 Jeep grand cherokee straight six, lifted three inches. I need to come up with a creative way to haul the dogs for hunting. I've seen guys put dog boxes on a hitch rack and that's fine for them, but I personally feel it unsafe for me to do it. So is anyone using a cherokee or similar s.u.v. ? If so could you post pics and explain what set up you have? Thanks!
