finally treeed the cat in this area
i have been getting my a,, handed to me in this one area. so we got a little ran right at dark last night so i decided to go this morning and just run the dogs. i boxed my dogs thru the area to make sure i wasnt going to have a race due to the location i was just wanting to road and thats it. I have had a couple races in this area that always seem to end with the dogs looking at me like i dont what happened.so thats why i box my dogs thru before i exercise. ( its the closest road to me to do so). so with no strikes thru the area i turned around and put the dogs down for there daily run well about half way back my dogs left the road screaming. i listened for a while then all went quite so i walked backed to the truck and grabbed gps and looked the dogs where coming back in a hurry. so i fiqured it was done but when they got to the road they went straight across and blew up again this time they were moving out. after about 1 1/2 miles they went quite again.i walked out there to see the same puzzled look that i was getting used to seeing here. i sat down for a few to try to figure this out. there was a huge slash pile on a rock ledge and the dogs kept crawling thru the slash pile screaming then out the other side and back thru again. then finnaly one of the dogs noticed some sh't falling out of the tree about 30 feet from the ledge and went down to check the tree and turned up nothing well when i got to looking i noticed the bobcat and a huge smile came to my face cause i have been here before and just figured they got schooled but now i believe its been doing the same trick everytime and with no way for the dogs to locate the tree they where stumped. frustration gone and cat left to run again.
