I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on some old lion bred hounds? Any help would be appreciated!

If you are looking for pups, contact Mike Harris. He has some pups and one of Mike Leonard's friends out in CA has some good pups. I saw both ads recently on this site and it sounds like the pups are pretty good. Good luck.

Re: New to lion huntin
Not lookin for some pups. Just to learn about the bloodlines of the dogs. Whats the best bloodlines out there??
Re: New to lion huntin
There are plenty of good bloodlines out there. Let's start with the conditions that you want to hunt in -- ie, snow, bare ground, dry hot desert, semi dry country, all year round in the desert, all year round in the pines, winter only.......
It's ALWAYS best to match lines of dogs with the conditions and game that you wish to hunt.
Next, do you want registered dogs or grade dogs? Does it matter? What color of dog strikes your eye?
This topic has been hashed out several times, so I thought that this time I might throw in some different variables right up front!
