Rules for the Non-Military
Make sure you read #13

Dear Civilians, 'We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation has many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military.

For those of you who can't join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas where we would like your assistance:

1. The next time you see any adults talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem- kick their ass.

2. When you witness, firsthand, someone burning the American Flag in protest - kick their ass.

3. Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while a disabled veteran kicks their ass.

4. If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDUs) or Jungle Fatigues, telling
others that you used to be 'Special Forces'. Collecting GI Joe memorabilia, might have been okay when you were seven years old, now, it will only make you look stupid and get your ass kicked.

5. Next time you come across an *Air Force* member, do not ask them, 'Do you fly a jet?' Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves an ass-kicking (children are exempt).

6. If you witness someone calling the Coast Guard 'non-military', inform them of their mistake - and kick their ass.

7. Next time Old Glory (the US flag) prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your
heart. This includes arrogant politicians who think someone may be offended. Quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her - of course, failure to do either of those could earn you a severe ass-kicking.

9. 'Your mama wears combat boots' never made sense to me - stop saying it! If she did, she would most likely be a vet and therefore would kick your ass!

10. 'Flyboy' (*Air Force*), 'Jarhead' (*Marines*), 'Grunt' (*Army*), 'Squid' (*Navy*), 'Puddle Jumpers'(*Coast Guard*) Bubblehead (Subsailor)etc., are terms of endearment we use describing each other.
Unless you are a service member or vet, you have not earned the right to use them. Using them
could get your ass kicked.

11. Last, but not least, whether or not you become a member of the military, support our troops and their families. Every Thanksgiving and religious holiday that you enjoy with family and friends, please remember that there are literally thousands of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen far from home wishing they could be with their families. Thank God for our military and the sacrifices they make every day. Without them, our country would get its ass kicked.

12. It's the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.
It's the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
It's the Veteran, not the community organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
It's the Military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.

AND ONE MORE:

13. If you ever see anyone singing the national anthem in Spanish - KICK THEIR ASS.

Don't get too excited guys unless you speak Native American. Remember, the Mexicans are original North Americans. Which are actually Asians that came across the Berring Straight. Third party research has shown that the United States was directly responsible for between 10 million and 114 million Indians as a direct result of US actions. i know you put your time in for the country for your freedom and all of our freedoms to pretty much come and go as we please in america. but are you really comparing extermaniting people based on religon or race. to people who were fighting one an other over the land? i hope not! there was a big difference one was extermaniting a race, one was fighting a war. one side (whitey) wanted to continue to homestead and make a better life for themself. the other side (native americans, mexicans) did not want them to. now i know our ignorant government has lost sight of what war is, and i sure hope they are not indoctranating our military. because the military is NOT the policeman for the world. when they are sent some where to fight (WAR). people are going to die (men, woman, children, churches will be blown up ext. ext. and our dumb polititians better start realizing it. but WAR and EXTERMINATING are are at different sides of the spectrum. and i think if you rethink the comparison you will also agree.

I stand corrected on the spelling of the word that so accurately describes the statement that was made. Folks on this continent had been fighting and displacing others for a long time before we got here. It was a fight over land and cultures. How does that compare to a man who viewed an entire race of people as being genetically inferior, justifying horrific and barbaric medical experiments as well as wholesale extermination of the race? You may say this land was taken from the mexicans but I can assure you that the Catholic Missions made quick work of any native american tribes in California. For example, the mexicans were granted tejon ranch back from the state of califonia, but the kawaisu were the original inhabitants of ft. tejon therefore not on paper, but still the rightful owners of the ranch. There are certainly no facts regarding that. That is a hypothesis. In other words an "educated guess". Even if it is true, that makes every one of us immigrants.

Us "good white folk" aren't reponsible for the death of "native" americans. I haven't killed an indian and I'd wager a bet that most of the people on this board haven't. I'm not sure where Hitler, jews or indians came into the subject but maybe I missed something. How can you hold people responsible for something their ancestors did? I'd guess we all have someone in our lineage that we wouldn't be proud of. It doesn't mean we have to apologize for the rest of eternity. No matter how you look at it, you are comparing apples and oranges. One isn't the same as the other and it certainly doesn't excuse the other. I think a bigger more relevant problem are the 30+ million babies that have been killed in our country since roe vs wade. That's something that is still happening and something we can change.

That is true Roe vs. Wade should be repealed and it should be left to the state and it's citizens to decide. But it is still apples and oranges.

Now as an American citizen one has the right to do as they please without worrying about an ass kicking. That's what it's all about right? Liberty? The right to do what you want as long as it does not infringe upon anothers right to do the same. The veteran does not give us these rights, a constitution does not give us these rights, our creator(whomever you choose) does.

AS far as indians go, we killed and violated treaties with almost all of them and thought of the indians as godless heathens and savages. Kinda like we think of most middle eastern people today.
