Diamond just issued a recall due to a possible salmonella contamination. It doesn't look like it affects the western part of the country.

I went to the feed store yesterday to get some dog food, they were out of the Diamond Extreme Athelete so I bought some Taste of the Wild High Prairie dog food, I have never heard of it but it sounds really good. It is 100% grain free. This is what it says about it.

Even though Utah is a gray (unaffected) state on Diamond's recall map, we have had an affected batch and have two dogs with salmonella. We're hoping the rest of them don't get it. Steer clear of that or check the serial numbers for the next little while!!

I think that Taste of the Wild is part of the recall also.
