Finally had a female come in heat. Sire is my Booker dog (BEAR DOG a-z with or without company) x tiny who is a littermate sister to John Rays late Moose dog (Rip) lost him to the bear last year. Double jags bred. This is 1 of closest if not the closest cross that can be made to ole Jags . Less than 60 days I'll be expecting a litter a John Ray bred game catchers. Can't wait !

Don't know flip n buddy. All Bookers pups r catchin game even the 6 mo. Olds out of the same cross r very impressive on the training they've had so far. My raider dog also has some very nice young dogs on the ground. These dogs do Wut bear dogs should catch bear . It's a surprise when 1 gets away. I breed for start to finish hounds n am very hard to please don't except failure n don't make excuses. Not many people know about the John Ray blues around the nation . He has kept these dogs close . I've tried bout everything out there in am glad I found these . Just another level. Never had an upson hound n here there nice if I didn't have these I'd give them a try but I have anything to do with it I will always own these. Run with them 1 time n Ull be hooked, I was cuz I like to catch a lot of game. 45 yrs of line bred blues n they speak for themselves . Thanks Trevor yea we know Denny ray as he's called up here great guy and hounds. I was talking about hortemillers dog Flip and I thought the other ones name was buddy which are outta Rays stuff also. I'll prob give ya a call this summer. That sucks about his dog getting killed Dean was suppose to breed to him last spring and didn't and was going to this spring.

Ya there's a lot o f guys that call him Danny Ray. I've ran with hortemiller 1 time . Put down off a bait with him openin day last year. We treed it in no time n an ole boy shot it. Don't no the names of any of his hounds. I loaded up drove north farther put down on another track with a buddy n some more joined in and we killed another. If Dean or u or anyone else r lookin for a stud dog to breed to I have 2 here that I am breeding rite now johns run with both n has 1 off of Booker that was bred to Moose n Mose a son off him. Just got off the phone with Mr. Al Barron's he owns the female and the pups are doin well. We were gonna put them up for sale on here but we can't cuz there all sold. More n more guys r finding out what this line of blues is all about n they don't last long. If ur interested u should get ur foot in the door early cuz they go quick John usually has everything sold b4 it's born. Again these hounds are 45 yrs of line bred blues ( no papers ) that have what it takes to catch game. Cold nosed hounds that run to catch. Built well. Move well.

Well pups will b 5 weeks tomorrow n all is well. Al tells me there's a whole litter of super pups. Can't wait to go to al's n get mine, I no the guys that got them booked are really ready to get there's too. I plan on breeding my raider dog to a couple females after bear season if everything goes rite and they come in heat. Don't no how to do it or I'd throw a few pics on here.
