Rigging and starting a track are two different things. Most rookie rig dogs have trouble getting off the box and going out to find the track. If she is somewhat straight and you trust her, if she strikes but can't start, help her by walking her upwind of the strike so that she can have a better opportunity to make the start. If she was truly rigging the bears you ran last hunt, put her on the box ALONE, I think this might up your odds. Also, if she winds up real hard but doesn't bark, that might be a strike too.
