I just got my first hound branded is it normal for his ear to get kinda thick and soft?

I'm thinkn about freeze brandin a dog an what is it I shld brand on him ? My initials , adress , :D or what?

Definitely do name, address, date of birth, and social....you can never be too safe :D

If you have a registered cow or horse brand put that on them
If it has fur I chase it.
