Ryan's motorcycle accident
Ryan's motorcycle accident
Maybe everyone already knows this, but just in case: There are a couple Ryans on here, but the one from Pennsylvania has been in a severe motorcycle accident. Both legs are broken and he has a long tough road back to being able to walk through the woods again. If you know him it would be a great time to send some prayers and/or moral support his way. It would be discouraging for anyone, but someone independent enough to be cat hunter is going to be tortured by having to rely on others for help and support.
So Ryan from Pennsyltucky, if you happen by here: we are prayin' and cheering for every step you take. Let us know how you are doing.

Ryan, I pray you have a speedy recovery. There is nothing tougher than a dedicated hound hunter that has the drive to hear his dogs in the woods! Its very motivating and will give your the drive to get through your tough times. Keep fighting and stay strong!
Re: Ryan's motorcycle accident
Thanks a lot guys, I'll be fine I just need a few months to get my pads toughened back up. I just got a "walker" it's slow and squeaks every step lol. I am probay two or three months away from being able to put any weight on my right leg. That's what will hold me back the most. I just have to wait for all the tendons I ripped off to heal. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers.

Re: Ryan's motorcycle accident
Ryan, I'm sure those doctors told you already, to be patient with those tendons as they are actually worse than broken bones. I can tell you firsthand, as quite a few years ago I came off of a bareback horse at the Staten Island rodeo and did a number on the tendons in my ankle. I thought it was going to be a walk in the park to get better. Boy did I get an eye-opener! So again, be patient and do exactly what those crazy physical therapist tell you to do when the time comes. No shortcuts!! You take care and I'm sure we will talk to you on the forum. Take it easy, Willy

Ryan, I feel your pain! My wife had both knees replaced last year. One in May and the other in September. The physical therapy as Willy has said is very, very important!! Good luck and hope you have a speedy recovery!
