snow hunters...

Post by Unreal_tk »

This aimed at snow hunters only. How many leave then holes open during the winter for the dogs to strike when its warmer conditions? I am not talking hunting this way full time, just when its 30 degrees or warmer and your cruising for tracks. Nor am I talking consistently striking, but that "oh jack smelled something let's stop" type deal. I had this happen a couple times last winter and it panned out once for me. CRA made a good point on another post that some cats just don't travel the roads or cross them but may come within 50 yrds of it.

I do that. And if it's not sub zero I'll box them as well.
If they're going to run trash, they better run to cath it!!!
