New Pup.....HELP!

Just got a new pup , hes about 3 months old, and i have no older dogs to run him with so whats the alternate to this. thanks.

Train him with walks in heavy game areas, let nature teach him how to do it. You'll need to wait to expect much, but starting the walks now would be good. Around 6 to 8 months he probably will start showing interest atleast. If its legal, do one or two live traps releases around that age. After he shows he likes it, be serious about your walks.

Best advice I could give is to spend $35.00 and get at least one of the Walk With Wick books..
you will have to read it ---- but those books are written so folks like you and I can understand them. they will train you as you train your pup....
I surely wish I would have had them way back when i got my 1st hound pup..
google it and go to huntsmart.com--- they have them.
