NM year round lion season

britchey i really don't think the units will close any quicker. I don't think there are enough good dirt dogs around to do that. I know a couple of guys with good dirt dogs and they all had access to private land which was always year round. Plus the depredation and roadkill no longer count against the quota. My opinion is that everything will average out.

the good area's may close as normal, but the season should re-open on april 1st so the advantage would be , you can start huntin again then instead of waiting til october.

This is good news for me, i have been looking at moving too nevada because of their year round lion season but I would rather be in new mexico. Looks like i have more options now.
