The FCC documentation is now posted on the FCC website, for the new system, You can find some of the technical details about it there.
From the FCC papers It looks like
20 dogs, And you can track other Handhelds.
There is a Photo of the back it uses a Rechargeable Battery that Looks like a Cell phone.

Can't believe another one is in the works already. Thought I read somewhere that increasing the trackable collars would increase the cost a bunch.
