Hounds for Kids, don’t let the name fool you
We are a youth event support Organization. Though we are strong supports of Hounds and Sporting Dogs, the actives and events they are involved with. We support any youth Organization involved in outdoor actives such as camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, conservation, land owner relations. Though we hold an occasional contest involving kids, we do not hold events of our own. Our primary function is to support those Organizations that do. To do this we solicit support from both individuals and companies across the country. There support comes in the form of both cash and product donations. We than provide Awards and door prizes to event holders. We do try help individual youth that have a special need or request when funds are available. Such as feed, vet bills, transportation, a dog, a pacific item needed to get into an active. A partner to take them out. This is usually done by posting the youths need on line, and getting them assistance in there area. In the past year Hounds for Kids has with your help located and donated dozens of dogs to kids. Provide over 1000 trophies, awards, and door prizes to clubs and event holders. Found transportation for kids to get to events all across the country, found them an adult in there area to help get them out. This could not of been done without YOUR Support. A BIG THANKS TO ALL THE COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS WHO HELP US HELP THE Kids, We are still having a lot of trouble getting Club mailing addresses.
